Its hard to see but I used a different embossing folder on almost every layer it is much prettier in real life.

I went back to work so Ive been tryin to adjust to my new schedule time has been flying by but I'm back and hope to be crafting and posting more regularly.

X-mas in July

Just been trying to get a head start on Christmas cards my mom made this one.

Emily found this old baby announcement card lying around and decided that she wanted it to be her birthday party invitation. I told her that was silly because it is a birth announcement I said read it it says its a girl. but she wanted the pretty pink dress. so I said I would try to make her one that was close she said no I want it exactly like this one. Well mine isn't exact but it is pretty close and she had to admit she liked mine better.

This is a card my mom and my sister made without me. That's OK I was at the beach enjoying our beautiful Michigan weather with my daughter.

This is a close up of the giraffe I used the wide oval punch for his body the boho flower for his tail lots of circle punches the legs and neck are just strips of paper.

Safari decor

OK my baby who is almost 6 is just now almost too big for her toddler bed. I know but she is very small for her age. So she wants a whole new room decor along with her big girl bed. She said "Mom I'm too big for Dora or princesses I wan an African safari room." She has picked out sheets and blankets with different animal stripes and spots. So she wanted us to make pictures for the wall. So this was our first one. The giraffe was hard for me took lots of trial and error, but I think I got it.

Happy Birthday

It has been beautiful weather lately so I have been outside mostly. So I got up early to make this card. So I can spend the rest of the day outside.

My computer has been down for a few days so I haven't been able to post anything. I'm so glad it is working again. This card is a thank you card made with may favorite dp from stampin up call sweet slumber it is retiring I better save what I have left. I'm sure gonna miss it. Hope they have something as bright and cheery in the new catty.

I have been very busy this week.

I have been making decorations invitations and thank yous for my nieces open house and my best friends b-day party so I will be posting a few of those things today and tomorrow. I got the palm tree idea from this blog http://www.juliabettencourt.comm/blog

For this card I punched all different size hole int he rec cardstock and layered it over the black to make ladybug spots.

Dino-mite

This is another border punch I got from Michaels. I just had to get it to go with this great stamp set I have had for quite some time and haven't used. Think this punch was made for this stamp set turned out great.

This is a card mom and I designed together lots of pink for our little princess who loves pink.

I got this new border punch from Michaels with the cool sand castles so of course I had to make a summer card. I think I should have colored his floaty tube a different color you can't see it to well in the pic. not sure if I like it or not.

April Showers Bring May Mosquitos

My birthday was this last weekend Memorial weekend we went camping. So I was battling mosquitos for my birthday which made me think of this stamps set and that little mosquito I didn't know what kind of card I could use him in.

This card is very versatile I made it so that I can turn it into whatever type of card I may need. I Stamped the beehive onto DP then cut it out. I stamped the bees on white and cut them out they have glitter on there wings you can't see in the pic.

May flowers

Mom made this card its very pretty. She makes a lot of pretty cards I tend to make cutesy cards with animals so we get a good variety that way.

If your old enough to remember that famous commercial you might like this one my 14 year old niece said "I don't get it." gosh was it that long ago. Any way my hubby who is not the biggest fan of my cards usually says "thats nice dear" as he barely looks really liked it actually got a laugh out of him.
